Field trip to Platemaking

Greg peels a plate off the washout unit on the platemaker. In the water are brushes that have taken off non-inking areas of the plate.

    • Jessica, the water is milky after a few plates are washed out. It’s the polymer washout suspended in the water. We can wash out about 10-12 plates before we change the water. Looks like a lot of our videos and photos are always taken when we’re in the middle of the washing out!
