Kraus corner-rounder, early 1900’s

Kraus corner rounder for letterpress printing

Why we love this: because this ain’t your scrapbooker’s corner rounder bullet red We don't actually use this anymore. Why? Perhaps because Harold bought this corner-rounder solely because it looked dangerous, like it could easily cut off its operators fingers. Hailing from the German city Leipzig, this machine has an interesting flywheel guard that's on the non-operating side of the machine, leaving the operator free-access to razor-sharp spinning spokes of the flywheel. Who needs all their fingers anyway? In addition, Harold frequently had to use a rubber mallet on this machine to make it operate properly.
