Why we love this press: you can adjust the angle of the platen as well as the depth of its impression with dial adjustments. No other press has that! (well, other than this press's little brother, the 10x15 Craftsman) We helped deliver this press from Buffalo, New York to Bradley Benedict's Blacks Corner Print Shop in Ithaca, New York. On this press, Brad produced much of Boxcar Press's original printing, including our third (and last!) catalog. Eventually Brad found printing too difficult, so when he went off to three years of law school. He sold the press to us, and we use it now mainly for die-cutting and scoring.
