We printed this broadside in commemoration of Patrick Lawler's reading here in Syracuse. Lawler is the author of three poetry collections: A Drowning Man is Never Tall Enough (U of Georgia Press), reading a burning book (Basfal Books), and Feeding the Fear of the Earth (Many Mountains Moving Press). He teaches Environmental Writing and Nature Literature at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. This broadside is part of the Downtown Writer's Center letterpress broadside series, a fundraising event for this important Syracuse writing institution.
