We printed this broadside in commemoration of Brigit Pegeen Kelly's reading here in Syracuse. Kelly's book The Orchard (BOA Editions) was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry, a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Award in Poetry, and a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Poetry. Kelly's poems have been anthologized in five Pushcart Prize volumes and six Best American Poetry collections. This broadside is part of the Downtown Writer's Center letterpress broadside series, a fundraising event for this important Syracuse writing institution.
