Steel-backed Photopolymer

Steel-backed letterpress plates are mounted on magnetic bases, like the Patmag or Bunting base; these plates do not work with the Boxcar Base. You'll cut these plates the same way you would a zinc or copper plate: we recommend a metal shear or heavy-duty trimmer. You can also use tin snips, though you may end up with kinks in your plate, as tin snips won’t cut as cleanly.
