Letterpress story time for boys and girls

Our friend and fellow book lover Amanda recently gave us this ultra cool picture book: Johann Gutenberg and the Amazing Printing Press! The Boxcar Baby and the Boxcar Dad fought over who would get to read it at bedtime last night. After quite a tussle, the Boxcar Dad won. His favorite spread: when Gutenberg’s print shop got foreclosed because he couldn’t make his loan repayments. Read it and weep.
