Letterpress Plate Samples

Description

With certain letterpress bases, you’ll find you have some plate choices to make. For instance, with the Standard Boxcar Base, you can choose to print with the 94CHFB or the KF95 polymer plates. For a Deep Relief Boxcar Base, we have the KF152 polymer plate. For Bunting Bases with a height of .858, you can use either the 145SB or the 152SB letterpress plates (metal backed plates). Or perhaps you just want to see what kind of detail professional platemakers (that’s us!) can get on our plates. To test things out, order some very nice-looking letterpress plate samples. Just tell us what base you’re using on your press in the Additional Comments section of the online ordering system and we’ll send you all your letterpress plate options. (Note that some plates, like the Deep Relief Boxcar Base, only have 1 plate option – our beloved KF152).

We ship the plate samples US Postal First Class and the cost covers the shipping.
