Description
Magnesium Carbonate is traditionally used to stiffen oil-based letterpress inks. Once added to ink, Magnesium Carbonate becomes transparent and will not alter the color of the letterpress ink. We recommend adding small amounts at a time while working into your ink on the mixing slab; little is needed to add body to an ink. Mix well. Note: It will also reduce an ink’s gloss level if you are printing on coated papers. Sold in 1 lb jars.
