Boxcar Press’s custom-made washout brushes use the same soft bristles as commercial polymer platemakers. Their 4×8 inch size fits neatly in your hand for processing small plates. These brushes even float (for after-work water fun)! We made sure the .75” bristles are very soft so you can hand-process plates and still get excellent detail. Please note hand-processing is not recommended for plates larger than 9 x 12. Larger plates should be processed by a professional platemaking service or a photopolymer platemaking machine. We use the same bristles on our larger brushes in our platemakers.
