We hope your files don't have problems, but if they do, this may delay your ship date. We pride ourselves in carefully checking over the files that you send us for platemaking before we process your plates. This may happen on the day your plate ships. If there are problems with your files, rather than make you a lousy plate, we will hold your plate order until we speak with you about your file. This may delay your ship date--unless you tell us in your order form to process your plate no matter what seems wrong with the file.
Please note that Boxcar Press celebrates the following holidays with wild and somewhat-vegetarian festivities and a day off: Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day after Christmas, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. Please allow for this when placing your orders around the holidays!

Shipping policies
If we ship your plates out early, we'll still use your preferred shipping method. The only time we’ll ignore your “date you want your plate to arrive in” is when we ship your plates out early and you’ll receive them early. In this case, we assume that you'll be happy to get your plates ahead of schedule, so we'll still use your specified shipping method. For instance, it's Monday at noon. You submit your order, which means we'll ship on Wednesday. You fill in "date you want your plate to arrive" with Thursday, and ask for "UPS next day air shipping." If we have your plates ready Tuesday, one day ahead of schedule, we’ll still send them next day air, just in case you need them a day early.
If you request that we waive the signature on your package, neither UPS nor Boxcar Press can be responsible if the package goes missing once it's been delivered.
Very occasionally, UPS experiences shipment delays due circumstances out of our control (UPS plane malfunctions, snowstorms in certain parts of the country, etc.). As long as your package was shipped from Boxcar Press on time, we unfortunately can not refund rush charges or platemaking charges. UPS does not refund shipping costs if the shipping delay was due to weather.
