Rush orders
- 1-day rush: 20% mark-up on platemaking (minimum $30 rush charge)
- Super rush (your files an form into us by 1 p.m. EST, we ship that day): 40% mark-up on negatives and platemaking ($45 minimum)

Plates choices for the Boxcar Base
We apply adhesive to these plastic-backed plates after processing. We send the plates untrimmed. You can trim these plates easily yourself with an Exacto of scissors

Plates choices for a Magnetic Base
These steel-backed plates need to be cut by tin snips, a metal shear, or a board shear. We can trim these plates for you if you provide a simple cutting diagram.
Bunting base users: measure your base thickness! Your plate + base must come within .003” of type high (.918”), although you can always increase your base thickness with paper underneath

For steel-backed plates that we trim down, our cuts are accurate to within 1/16” of an inch and we can make simple straight cuts only. If you’d like us to trim your plates, please include a cutting diagram with your order. We only cut steel backed plates because plastic-backed plates are simple and fun to trim down yourselves!
