For those processing their own photopolymer plates, these sponge rollers will remove water and polymer deposits on the surface of your plate after washout and before drying. The sponge roller helps eliminate water and polymer rings that may show up on the surface of your plate and also on your printing. Keep the sponge roller submerged underwater at all times; we recommend storing the roller upright in a 4" PVC pipe (filled with water). Wring out excess water before rolling this roller gently over the surface of your wet plate prior to putting it in the dryer of your platemaker.
