We printed this broadside in commemoration of Jeanne Marie Beaumont's reading here in Syracuse. Her first book, Placebo Effects, was selected by William Matthews as a winner in the National Poetry Series and published by W.W. Norton. Her second collection of poems, Curious Conduct, was published by BOA Editions, Ltd. Beaumont teaches at Rutgers University and at the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y. This broadside is part of the Downtown Writer's Center letterpress broadside series, a fundraising event for this important Syracuse writing institution.
